CommunicationsSocial Media Intern Summer 2027

Principal Responsibilities:Create and edit engaging multimedia content including graphics videos and social media reels that reflect the Marquette interviews with vessel and shore-based employees to source authentic stories that showcase Marquettes people and internal and external communications by generating content ideas and assisting with analytics to determine effectiveness and seek continuous improvement of communication and marketing with internal communications plan including campaign themes content calendar and promotional in planning and strategic brainstorming for communications projects and with day-to-day communications tasks and special projects as :Currently seeking a Bachelors or Masters degree in Communications Marketing Public Relations or related with social media platforms (Instagram TikTok LinkedIn Facebook) and an interest in emerging digital writing editing and storytelling skills with attention to with design and video editing skills (Canva Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools) preferred.A self-starter who works well independently and takes initiative with minimal thinker who is comfortable generating new ideas and trying innovative interpersonal and verbal communication skills with comfort engaging employees across departments and and ability to travel and board Join UsGain hands-on experience in communications and marketing from content creation to campaign to travel to Marquette locations (e.g. New Orleans) and get hands-on with vessel part of a cornerstone industry in our region and learn about what makes the maritime industry opportunities throughout the Company and with other summer is a paid summer internship opportunity located onsite in Paducah KY with internship dates ranging from June 1 2027 to mid-August 2027.
