Schedule:

• 8:00am - 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver age-appropriate, compassionate care for patients throughout the lifespan
• Perform patient assessments, implement clinical protocols, and assist in radiologic procedures
• Support physicians in a wide range of procedures, including barium studies, joint injections, paracentesis/thoracentesis, abscess drain placements, bone marrow biopsies, and various tissue biopsies under imaging guidance
• Maintain procedure documentation and assure compliance with safety, radiation protection, and infection control standards
• Educate patients about procedures, obtain informed consent, and provide detailed pre- and post-procedure instructions
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and technologists to optimize workflow and maintain procedural readiness
• Respond fluidly to emergencies and uphold strict confidentiality of patient information

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved program recognized by New York State Education Department
• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or closely related field (required)
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography; further certifications in CT, Ultrasound, IR (RRA) strongly preferred
• Active BLS required; ACLS highly desirable
• Advanced procedural skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic clinical environment
