Job Description 

We are looking for a customer-focused Parts Counterperson to join our team! The right candidate is knowledgeable, organized, and enjoys working in a collaborative dealership environment to get customers and technicians the right parts quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while assisting with parts requests, special orders, and delivery status inquiries
• Collaborate with service and other departments to support vehicle repairs
• Work with the Parts Manager to maintain and organize inventory
• Properly store, handle, and dispose of batteries and other regulated materials
• Operate forklift or pallet jack as needed
• Deliver parts to customers or other locations as required
• Follow federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the automotive industry
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Parts Counterperson or in an automotive parts role preferred
• Dealer Management System (DMS) experience preferred
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or greater
• Dependable team player with a strong work ethic
