RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, totaling 36 hours per week
• Holiday rotation required
• Every other weekend commitment required
• Patient ratios of 1:5 (may change depending on staffing)
• Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units and sister facilities
• 2 years of experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Travel experience required
• Dress code: Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal Blue bottoms
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Skills include: Isolation Precautions/PPE, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Care for adult patients in a 20-bed medical surgical unit
• Work with interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
