Electrician III, CF
This position is limited term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent. This advertisement is for an Electrician III, CF position located at Sierra Conservation Center in Jamestown, Tuolumne County. Please indicate the position number on your application: 099-216-6534-001.
Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of Building Trades, CF the Electrician III, CF will install transmission lines for electrical equipment. Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical systems. Perform work on the Lethal Electric Fence (LEF), associated equipment, and components as mandated by the California Code of Regulations Title 8, Industrial Relations, Section 2940(c) High Voltage Electrical Fence orders regarding maintenance of LEF. Troubleshoot electrical systems. Operate electrical power generating equipment and assist with special projects. This is the lead-worker level and sees that the work is carried out according to plans and specifications and is properly correlated with other trades. Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s). Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented. PLP 2025 requires that each full-time employee receive a 3 percent reduction in pay in exchange for 5 hours of PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes.
