Job Description Internal Medicine Physician – Outpatient PracticePrime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group – Plainfield, IL (Chicago suburb)Position Overview: Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join our established outpatient practice located in Plainfield, Illinois. This is a full-time, employed position with a focus on providing high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a collaborative, supportive environment. Position Information: Setting: 100% outpatient Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours, 36 patient-facing hours/wk., 4 hours admin No inpatient or hospital call responsibilities Average patient load: 18-25 patients per day Support staff: Experienced clinical and administrative team Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic Salary: $275,000 - $300,000 + productivity incentives Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive adult primary care, including preventive health screenings, management of chronic conditions, acute illness evaluation, and geriatric care. Perform in-office procedures such as EKGs, joint aspirations, skin biopsies, and routine wellness exams. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including behavioral health, nutrition, and specialists for optimal patient outcomes. Participate in quality initiatives, population health efforts, and potential value-based care programs. Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications: MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine. Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine. Active or eligible for Illinois medical licensure. Compassionate approach with strong communication skills and a commitment to evidence-based, patient-first care. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $275,000-$300,000. on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
