CX Engineering – Workflow and Intellectual Capital designs, builds, and operates the platforms, automation, and knowledge capabilities that power Cisco's global technical-support experience. Our portfolio spans case management, troubleshooting, AI capabilities, automation platforms, intellectual capital, security and compliance, and supporting infrastructure. We partner across product, engineering, operations, security, and service delivery to transform complex support needs into secure, scalable solutions—from discovery through production and operationalization. Our globally distributed team combines product and program leadership, architects, engineers, and change and release professionals around a common commitment to measurable customer and business outcomes. Joining this team means helping shape how AI, automation, and modern engineering workflows improve engineer productivity and customer and partner experiences at Cisco scale.
Your Impact
Lead integrated delivery across a value stream or portfolio of approximately 10–20 applications, including multiple related programs, product roadmaps, and operational dependencies. Translate strategic priorities into a coordinated, multi-quarter program roadmap with clear outcomes, sequencing, investment requirements, and decision points. Orchestrate execution across more than six Agile teams or an equivalent level of organizational and technical complexity, spanning multiple engineering domains, functions, partners, and releases. Own critical-path management, portfolio-level risks, budgets, resource trade-offs, outcome metrics, and executive decision support. Coach other program managers and establish repeatable delivery practices that improve predictability, quality, adoption, and transition into ongoing operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of related experience
- 5+ years of experience leading software, platform, or technical-program delivery using Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or comparable iterative development practices
- Experience with integrated roadmaps, critical paths, cross-team dependencies, risks, budgets, resources, and delivery metrics across multiple releases or functions
- Experience delivering enterprise software or platform programs involving more than six Agile teams—or an equivalent level of technical, organizational, and stakeholder complexity
- Technical experience across at least two relevant domains, such as cloud services, APIs, data platforms, AI/ML, workflow automation, DevOps, security and compliance, or enterprise-support systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with technical-support operations, service-delivery platforms, case-management systems, knowledge-management systems, or engineering workflow tools
- Experience applying AI, automation, or agentic AI or AI-enabled automation capabilities to program management, service delivery, or operational processes, with a clearly defined business or operational result
- PgMP, PMP, PMI-CPMAI, SAFe, Scrum, ITIL, change-management, financial-management, Cisco technical, or comparable professional certification
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical information, delivery data, and business trade-offs into concise executive recommendations
- Experience leading globally distributed teams and mentoring program managers or technical delivery leaders through ambiguous, high-impact initiatives.
