The Remodeling Carpenter plays a crucial role in constructing high-quality sunrooms, decks, and room additions throughout Columbus, Ohio. This position requires an experienced professional with over 10 years in carpentry and remodeling who values attention to detail, effective communication, and teamwork. The ideal candidate contributes to a collaborative environment within a small team while delivering exceptional craftsmanship based on blueprints and project plans.

 

Responsibilities

• Perform framing, trim carpentry, and exterior remodeling
• Interpret and build from blueprints and drawings
• Construct decks, sunrooms, and room additions
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and maintain clean job sites
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers
• Execute projects efficiently within a small team of 2-5 members
• Maintain quality control throughout construction phases

 

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of carpentry and remodeling experience
• Proficient in framing and trim carpentry
• Skilled in blueprint reading and interpretation
• Experienced in exterior remodeling, deck construction, room additions, and sunroom building
• Strong communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
