Come join CHS, Inc as a Custodian for our Cenex® Zip Trip convenience store location in Miles City, MT We're seeking a Custodian to join our team at store 75 in Miles City, MT. As a Custodian, you are responsible for routine cleaning, sanitizing, and upkeep of facilities, including floors, restrooms, common areas, and workspaces. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows safety procedures, and works efficiently both independently and as part of a team. CHS Offers $1000.00 retention bonus Work schedule flexibility Fast career opportunities and internal growth Work with fun, motivated people Responsibilities Perform cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, restrooms, hallways, etc Emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces Perform cleaning duties adhering to approved department cleaning procedures Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition Sweep, and clean restrooms Cleaning counter tops, cleaning coffee, tea, and other equipment, Mopping, dusting, washing floors, vacuuming, cleaning windows Empty and clean all trash receptacles Mopping, scrubbing floors, vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets Removing trash and sanitizing trash containers Maintain yard equipment and cleaning supplies Maintain company premises in a clean and orderly way by picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, or using industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors Use cleaning chemicals and equipment Perform light dusting, window cleaning, vacuuming, and dishware cleaning Minimum Qualifications (required) Knowledge of Cleaning, Retail and/or Retail Merchandising and Customer Service Must meet minimum age requirement Additional Qualifications Previous janitorial experience preferred Ability to work flexible hours preferred Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. If required, selected candidates must pass pre-employment screenings to include all or a combination of drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMSCA Clearinghouse. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, squat, bend and lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
