You can be a part of this legendary team.The Traffic Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily activities of hourly traffic department team members, including truck drivers, with daily dispatches, deliveries and administrative responsibilities.Primary job responsibilities:Maintain D.O.T files and records on all driversProcess and maintain drivers' payroll filesAudit daily logs and on time deliveriesPositive daily communication with customersResponsible for after-hours communications with driversMaintain positive driver and staff employee relationsPlan work assignments and equipment allocations to meet transportation and operations goalsConfer with customers, supervisors, managers, or other personnel to exchange information to resolve problemsDispatch personnel and vehicles in response to reports of emergenciesAssist in the planning of transportation routesResponsible for the safety of the department and security of people and resources, accident investigations and loss preventionFlexible to deal with issues that arise outside of normal business hours.Other duties as assignedJob requirements:Bachelor's degree in logistics/transportation or related emphasis is preferredPrevious demonstrated leadership in a supervisory role in the transportation industryAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication (both written and verbal) skillsStrong PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookFlexible to deal with issues that arise outside of normal business hoursLead, support and encourage Ace Values: Winning, Excellence, Love, Integrity, Gratitude, Humility and Teamwork
