I opened my agency in 2009 and currently lead a team of 10 across two agencies. I entered the insurance industry after undergrad and have spent my career building a business centered around relationships, growth, and creating opportunities for others. I attended Bridgewater College, where I played football. I’m a proud husband, brother, and father of two daughters, and my wife is also part of the team. Outside of work, I enjoy boating, traveling, spending time on or near the water, and following football. We’re a big sports family (split between Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos fans), so things can get competitive at home sometimes. Colin Owens - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
