Position Summary

The Commercial Team Lead is responsible for leading commercial cleaning crews, ensuring quality standards are met, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the day-to-day operations of commercial accounts. This position requires leadership, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to train and motivate team members while delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside team members during commercial cleaning assignments.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to Suds & Co. standards.
• Conduct quality inspections before leaving each job site.
• Train and mentor new commercial cleaning technicians.
• Communicate with management regarding staffing, supplies, client concerns, and job progress.
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients.
• Manage team productivity and ensure efficient use of scheduled time.
• Monitor inventory and report supply needs.
• Ensure all safety procedures and company policies are followed.
• Handle client requests and resolve minor issues on-site when appropriate.
• Complete required documentation, checklists, and reports.

Qualifications

• Previous professional cleaning experience preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical cleaning tasks.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications: 

• Previous housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites 
• Ability to read and follow cleaning instructions
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment 
• Ability to withstand regular physical contact with dog and cat hair, mold, dust, mildew, and cleaning solutions
