House Sitter Wanted - House And Cat Sitter Needed, Very Flexible Dates, Non Smoker Please

We live in a 100 year old cottage on 25 acres in rural, northern Minnesota. The property is at the end of a gravel road, gently rolling terrain, wooded, with 1300 feet of lakeshore. Surrounded by state land, with one retired neighbour on the same road, this is a quiet sanctuary. The cottage is 2bedroom, 1bath, with living, dining and kitchen. There are a large patio and a gazebo for outdoor relaxing. No garage. If needed, yard maintenance by lawn tractor, with snow-blower attached, and the county plows the gravel road in winter. Heat sources are both propane blower and wood stove. A 115 year old Finnish Sauna log cabin is next to the cottage (we are needing to fix the roof so the sauna is unavailable at present). We have forest animals who come through the property, including bear and bobcat and wolf; too many birds to name, including eagle and osprey and turkey and owl and pileated woodpecker, as well as much water fowl. Our lake allows year round fishing, non-motorized boating, with loons and swans nesting each year. We are one mile from the nearest tiny town of Lake George (fuel and convenience store there), and 25 miles to the closest town which offers shopping and restaurants and services. The nation's longest national scenic hiking trail comes through just south of our property: The North Country Trail; 4600 miles, it is longer than the Appalachian or the Pacific Crest! The property is also just outside the east entrance to Minnesota's jewel-in-the-crown, Itasca State Park, where one finds the headwaters of the Mississippi. Night skies are completely dark, except for the stars and the moon, and sometimes aurora borealis. We offer free utilities: land line calls anywhere in North America, streaming Roku channels (no cable), Wifi, electric, propane, water. Our cell coverage is good, but only outside the cottage due to steel roof and siding. Most importantly, we have one young kitty who adores people and needs love more than anything else. He is fed dry food and water, is indoor only, and is perfect with his litter box; very low maintenance except for craving attention. :) Closest vet is 20 miles away, and we cover all emergency medical costs for the little man.
