Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, material planning, and supply continuity efforts for a manufacturing operation in Livermore, California. This role will guide a high-performing team, strengthen supplier partnerships, and support sound commercial decisions that improve cost, quality, and service. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, analytical judgment, and the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders.Responsibilities:• Lead supply chain, procurement, and material planning activities to maintain reliable product flow and support manufacturing performance.• Direct and develop leaders and team members across the function, setting priorities, improving accountability, and building organizational capability.• Negotiate supplier agreements and commercial terms while balancing cost, quality, delivery, and long-term business needs.• Evaluate supplier performance, inventory trends, and operational data to identify risks and recommend effective corrective actions.• Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, Legal, and senior leadership to align sourcing decisions with company objectives.• Oversee supply risk mitigation strategies, including contingency planning and actions to reduce disruptions across the supplier base.• Prepare clear recommendations and presentations for leadership using financial, operational, and supplier insights.• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supply chain processes, including lean practices, value analysis, and broader functional transformation efforts.
