MA or LPN - Marshall Pediatrics

This position will include weekend hours, Saturday and Sunday 8:30am-2:30pm, then 3 flexible weekdays. Job Responsibilities:
Experience: Prior experience is required. Internal applicants must call HR at ext. 11653 to determine eligibility before applying.
- Greets patients and prepares them for physician's examination. Screens patients for appropriate information. Instructs patients in collection of samples and tests.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance within the scope of the licensed practical nursing standards.
- Maintains and assists with the preparation of equipment and aids physicians during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.
- Handles telephone inquiries from patients regarding test results, medications and treatment instructions as directed by the physician.
- Arranges for hospitalization, referrals, or performance of special procedures for patients.
- Maintains a clean, attractive work area and keeps clinical areas stocked with appropriate medical supplies.
- Cleans and sterilizes medical instruments, surgical trays, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
