Job Summary:
An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experienced registered nurse is sought for a position in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. The healthcare provider requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. This role involves working in a fast-paced critical care environment with a 12-hour shift schedule.

Job Details:

• Location: Rhinelander, WI
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license; AHA (American Heart Association) or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; Associate Degree or Certificate; 2+ years ICU experience; prior critical access or rural experience highly preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float to alike units within the skill set; float to other Aspirus locations within a 40-mile radius, including Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River. Float scheduling will be pre-arranged if needed.
• Additional Information: Charting experience with EPIC system preferred but not required. The unit maintains a 1:2 patient ratio. During flu season, staff declining vaccination must wear a mask at all times, per policy. The contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours.
• On Call/Call Back: May be low censused and put on call; minimum call back of 2 hours.
• Submission Requirements: Clinical interview.
• Vaccinations: Flu and COVID vaccines are required.
• Holiday Rotation: Every other holiday.
