Job Summary:
X-ray Technologist position located in Conroe, Texas. This role involves providing diagnostic imaging services in a high-volume, high-acuity radiology unit featuring advanced equipment and technology. The position requires on-call responsiveness with a maximum response time of 30 minutes, supporting a diverse patient population from neonates to geriatrics.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in radiography, basic life support (BLS) certification, Texas state licensure or equivalent, and 0 or more years of experience in trauma radiography (Trauma II), neuro, ortho-trauma, or general surgery radiography.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE, OEC, Philips, or O-Arm fluoroscopy equipment; proficiency with comprehensive diagnostic fluoroscopy; experience performing high-volume, high-acuity fixed and portable radiography in surgical settings.
• Additional Information: The unit utilizes GE EMR Meditech HIS/RIS, McKesson PACS, and AGFA CRT equipment. Dress code requires scrubs, initially Burgundy switching to Hunter Green on August 1, 2019. All staff may be required to work alternate shifts or departments, including off-campus satellite facilities, to ensure continuous coverage.
• Certifications: Must hold valid radiography certification and BLS certification.
