CT Tech in Fairport, NY

Lead vital diagnostic procedures and deliver expert imaging support as a CT and CT/PET Technologist. In this contract position, you'll collaborate with a dedicated medical imaging team, ensuring high-quality care for every patient while utilizing state-of-the-art CT and PET/CT technologies.


Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT - CT)
• Previous experience with both CT and PET/CT imaging procedures
• Valid and active Radiologic Technologist license
• Detailed knowledge of diagnostic imaging best practices
• Competency with operating and troubleshooting advanced imaging equipment
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced clinical environments
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification, or willingness to obtain

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate CT and PET/CT scans for a diverse patient population
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures while ensuring safety and comfort
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to imaging needs promptly
• Analyze and transmit images for physician review, adhering to established protocols
• Document procedural details accurately within electronic health record systems
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment according to manufacturer and facility guidelines
• Uphold rigorous infection control and safety standards throughout all procedures
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
