Accounting Operations Supervisor

I'm hiring for my client, a growing organization looking for an Accounting Operations Supervisor to lead financial close systems, drive process improvements, and strengthen internal controls. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys combining accounting expertise with technology, automation, and continuous improvement. What You'll Do Serve as the primary owner of the company's financial close and reconciliation platform, including administration, reporting, user access, and workflow optimization. Partner with Accounting, Finance, IT, and Audit teams to streamline processes and identify automation opportunities. Support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and audit readiness. Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and key accounting processes. Help maintain a strong internal control environment and support compliance initiatives. Lead and mentor a small accounting team while helping elevate processes and performance. Drive operational improvements that reduce manual effort and improve visibility across the close cycle. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of accounting, accounting systems, or financial operations experience. Experience with financial close, reconciliations, internal controls, and process improvement. Background working with ERP systems and close management or reconciliation software preferred. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset. Ability to collaborate across both finance and technology teams.
