Clinical Psychologist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are looking for a committed Clinical Psychologist to join our organization, focusing on conducting medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the disability benefits assessment process. In this role, you will utilize a secure web portal to review behavioral health records and perform thorough in-person evaluations for each Veteran.

• Conduct in-person assessments for U.S. Veterans regarding their disability claims.
• Analyze and review electronic medical records through a secure online platform.
• Document findings accurately and complete all necessary forms required by the VA.

Note: This position does not involve providing treatment or prescribing medications. Disability decisions are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the psychologist.

• Schedule: Part-Time (3 days per week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
• Location: In-person role.
• Caseload: Approximately 4 Veterans per day.
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary documentation tools.

• A compassionate psychologist who is passionate about supporting the Veteran community.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate medical records and assessment data.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based systems.
• A professional and empathetic approach when interacting with Veterans.

• Possession of a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program.
• An active and unrestricted psychology license.
• Comfortable utilizing technology for record reviews and documentation.
