Client Manager (Employee Benefits)Manages a middle market book of business and provides consultative support throughout the client lifecycle. This role owns client relationships, leads renewals and implementations, and resolves complex service issues.Essential Job Duties include but are not limited to:Manages dedicated Book of Business: medium-to-large volume book or a smaller set of higher revenue or more complex clients (e.g., self-funded, custom plans), requiring higher service intensity and tailored engagement models. May support light prospecting.Has ownership and accountability for client relationships, service plans, timelines, and execution quality.Leads benefit implementations, vendor management, renewals, and open enrollment strategy and delivery.Primary point of contact for daily client service.May provide coaching or training for junior Client Managers.Key strengths and traits include but are not limited to:Proficient oral & written communication skillsIndependent ThinkingAccountabilityDecisivenessInitiating ActionQualifications:Active Life & Health License3+ years relevant experienceTechnical applications skills: OE guide applicationWorking knowledge of industry trends and funding models to client context (ability to apply)Compensation & BenefitsBeing a part of IMA has its benefits.
