We're looking for a driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, solving customer challenges, and contributing to business growth. The ideal candidate combines industry knowledge, customer service excellence, and a passion for sales success.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably within the building materials, construction, lumber, millwork, or related industry.
• Proven ability to generate new business while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Experience managing larger or more complex customer accounts and projects.
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend tailored solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Proficiency with sales order entry systems, pricing, quoting, and customer account management.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyze customer needs, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions that drive customer satisfaction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other business software applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building products, construction materials, millwork, windows, doors, or related industries.
• Knowledge of material takeoffs, estimating, and project quoting.
• Experience supporting outside sales representatives and participating in customer site visits.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor or train less experienced sales team members.
• Working knowledge of local building codes, product specifications, and industry trends.

In addition to the base wage listed, this position is further eligible to receive commission compensation for earned commissions related to sales of eligible Company products and/or services subject to changes in plan design and documents and in accordance with applicable law. Commissions are based on a percentage of the transactions sold and subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable Commission Agreement.
