The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. This role requires technical expertise in operating CT equipment, strong patient care skills, and adherence to safety protocols. Scanning may include: Brain, spine, joint, abdomen, & pre-surgical studies. Key Responsibilities Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring comfort and safety. Explain procedures clearly to patients and answer any questions. Operate CT scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Evaluate image quality and ensure diagnostic usability. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography and CT. BLS/CPR certification.
