The Role Senior Product Manager – Technical SEO – owns and drives technical SEO strategy across a large‑scale, internationally distributed website. This senior role has meaningful cross‑functional scope. The manager partners closely with engineering, product, and content teams to identify and resolve complex technical SEO issues, define and maintain implementation standards, mentor junior SEO team members, and clearly communicate SEO strategy and performance to leadership. The role also proactively contributes to future product direction by analyzing customer feedback, monitoring product performance, and making recommendations. It leads the product and feature discovery process, helps elicit requirements, and ensures alignment with strategic initiatives and business goals. What Will You Do? Develop and recommend opportunities that the business and fans desire, through research and customer feedback analysis. Work closely with internal teams (Tech, Sales, Finance, Client Services, Marketing) to identify features for the roadmap by measuring revenue and customer satisfaction goals. Oversee and participate in the planning and execution of strategic initiatives and tactical activities throughout the product life cycle. Develop strategy and track key metrics used in measuring the success of products. Leverage product management knowledge and experience to juggle multiple projects with competing priorities. Advocate and communicate the value of products and services to stakeholders. Drive go‑to‑market strategy and launches for new products by using data‑driven insights and customer feedback to inform product development and marketing decisions. Coach and train junior colleagues (business analysts, product managers) in techniques, processes, and responsibilities. What Will You Bring? Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required; degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field preferred. 4+ years in a Product Management role with hands‑on technical SEO experience and a demonstrable track record on large‑scale websites (hundreds of thousands to millions of URLs). Deep expertise in crawl management, site architecture, indexation strategy, structured data, hreflang, and JavaScript SEO. Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and across geographies, including executive management, product management, operations, sales, and marketing. Proven experience working with developers: writing implementation specifications, reviewing code changes, and QA‑ing deployments. Experience with international SEO across multiple regions and languages. Proficiency with enterprise SEO tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, BrightEdge, Lumar/DeepCrawl, Semrush, Ahrefs) and Google Search Console. Strong product management discipline when working on projects. Comfortable working directly in complex CMS environments and understanding how content operations affect SEO at scale. Highly autonomous. Able to identify problems, prioritize, and drive solutions without being directed. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership. Expertise with standard development tools such as Jira, Trello, etc. Strong follow‑through. Owns timelines, tracks open items, and closes loops proactively. Pay Scale $126,000–$144,000 Bonus This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
