Radiology - MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2+ years of MRI experience License: BLS Certifications: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT Must-Have: General MRI exams Implants Elastography Defecography Breast imaging Cardiac imaging Clienttion badge Description:The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) reports to the site supervisor and manager of radiology.Under general supervision, the MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols.The examinations are conducted on patient populations for physician interpretation.Additional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary. The shift is Monday through Friday, working 5 eight-hour shifts from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM.Alternative shifts of 4 ten-hour days or 3 twelve-hour days may be considered.Weekend work is required on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, leading to a total of 40 hours worked.No call requirement exists for this position.The candidate may float between two locations as needed. Experience with the following equipment is required: Siemens.Preferred experience includes familiarity with Sectra and Epic.Candidates must possess a radiation badge, which must be provided by their agency.Candidates should include all requested time off during submission.
