Quality Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a vital member of the Quality Assurance department, you will support manufacturing operations by ensuring product quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will enable you to thrive within a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Location: St Petersburg, FL

Pay Range: $25.30/hr

Shift: 3rd shift 9:45pm-6am Mon-Fri

What's the Job?

• Perform functional quality tests on materials accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines.

• Record and report inspection results, failure analysis, material discrepancies, and defect data using SAP and related databases.

• Conduct detailed visual inspections to assess product quality, making timely decisions on disposition.

• Coordinate with production line technicians and supervisors when nonconformances are identified or specifications are exceeded.

• Analyze data, create reports, and develop presentation materials for metrics reporting and trend analysis.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree or relevant certification preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or quality assurance environments.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Knowledge of quality concepts, ISO 9000 standards, and inspection practices.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and use handheld gages effectively.
