Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Description Basic Function Responsible for the daily tracking and documentation related to the movement of materials for the Shipping & Receiving Department. Skills Oral Communication Skills Written Communication Skills Reading Skills Time Management Organizational Skills Metric and English Math Skills Computer Literacy Proficient in Microsoft Office Education/Training Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience Prior work related experience helpful. Requirements Responsibilities

1. Create Bills of Lading and Packing Slips based on the customer’s shipping orders.
2. Create receiving receipts based on materials received.
3. Create move tickets based on production’s requisition of materials.
4. Input material movement into inventory.
5. Track material locations in the warehouse and assign locations for incoming material.
6. Assist in the verification and reconciliation of inventory.
7. Assist in the scheduling of incoming and outgoing material.
8. Follow the company’s safety and sanitation practices.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
