Must-Have: Siemens equipment experience required. ARRT MR/ARMRIT certification in hand to submit.

Description: The MRI Technician will work a schedule of Monday to Friday with rotating days off. No call or holidays are required. The daily caseload per technician ranges from 100 to 150 patients. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend requirements consist of one Saturday a month if needed. This position does not require on-call duties. Travelers must float within the scope to meet facility needs. Local candidates will not be accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility. There are no restrictions on time off beyond a maximum of 7 days. Special requirements include experience with outpatient/inpatient, ER, and Level 1 trauma facilities. Preferred skills include experience in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, breast, spine, musculoskeletal imaging, CINE, diffusion, and gradient echo imaging. Experience in image post-processing, MIP, MRP, perfusion, and spectroscopy is also preferred. Candidates should be familiar with at least two of the following software: Espree, Trio, Aera, Skyra, Sola, Vida. The facility is classified as a short-term acute care teaching hospital. Total staffed beds in the facility are 1259. Charting is done through an electronic system. Compliance with health and safety protocols is required. Travelers must have facial hair that allows for proper fit testing for masks; otherwise, they will be expected to shave. Travelers must complete any required labs within a specified timeframe after signing. Modules may be required prior to the start date and will be billed accordingly.
