Program Manager – PCB Assembly & Wire Harness
We are seeking a technically strong Program Manager to oversee quoting, order execution, production coordination, and customer technical support for PCB assembly and wire harness projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare quotes and RFQ responses, including BOM, labor, tooling, and material costs.
- Review electrical schematics, Gerbers, BOMs, drawings, and assembly requirements.
- Serve as the technical contact for customers and suppliers.
- Coordinate production, materials, scheduling, and delivery.
- Create job travelers, work instructions, and production documentation.
- Support testing, inspection, NCR/CAPA, and ISO 9001 processes.
- Identify manufacturability issues and drive process improvements.
- Support defense/ITAR/DFARS requirements when applicable.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in PCB assembly and wire harness manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of SMT, through-hole soldering, wire harness assembly, crimping, and routing.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, BOMs, Gerbers, and harness drawings.
- Experience with quoting/RFQs, production coordination, and customer support.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, CAPA, NCR, and audits.
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
Preferred:
- Aerospace/defense manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of ITAR, DFARS , and defense contract requirements.
- Hands-on production floor experience.
- Experience with PCB quoting tools and Gerber/pick-and-place files.
