Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand the diverse experiences of patients, forming the basis for individualized treatment plans. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are tailor-made for each patient, taking into account their cultural identities and personal histories. Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to address mental health concerns and enhance resilience. Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary health professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care, enhancing communication around treatment goals. Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during mental health emergencies, leveraging strong skills to de-escalate challenging situations. Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources that can aid in their healing journey. Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, fostering transparency and accountability. Engage actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training sessions to stay abreast of best practices. Commit to continuous learning by reviewing current research and integrating innovative therapeutic techniques into practice. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. A current and valid state license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R. Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and culturally competent therapy practices. Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy with a strong emphasis on cultural responsiveness. Robust crisis intervention skills and the capacity to maintain composure in high-pressure situations. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on rapport-building with diverse populations. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in related software applications. Dedication to maintaining professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality. A strong ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting. Preferred Experience Experience working in community health settings or similar outpatient practices. Exposure to or experience with trauma-informed care approaches. Involvement in advocacy or community outreach efforts that promote mental health awareness. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, which reflects your skills and expertise along with our commitment to fostering a competitive compensation package.
