Procurement Coordinator

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Procurement Coordinator for a top food ingredients and nutrition manufacturing client. This candidate will support the North American Procurement team by managing critical raw material procurement processes, workflow approvals, supplier communications, documentation management, and cross-functional coordination efforts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment while partnering with Procurement, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, and Product Development teams. This opportunity offers valuable exposure to strategic sourcing, supplier management, ERP systems, and supply chain operations while supporting key initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites. Day-to-Day: Manage raw material procurement processes, supplier onboarding, and sourcing workflows. Support new product introductions and coordinate approvals across Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, and Product Development teams. Maintain supplier relationships, forecasts, scorecards, and procurement documentation. Resolve supplier, inventory, pricing, and invoice-related issues to support manufacturing operations. Support strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier evaluations, and supply chain risk management activities. Maintain ERP and inventory data while driving procurement process improvements and standardization efforts. Skills and Requirements Must-Haves: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Experience supporting procurement, supply chain, sourcing, or operations functions Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and building strong working relationships Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Plusses: Raw material procurement or ingredient sourcing experience Manufacturing, food production, nutrition, or CPG industry experience ERP experience (SAP preferred; AS400 a plus) Supplier management, vendor onboarding, forecasting, or supplier scorecard experience Experience supporting sourcing initiatives, RFX processes, or strategic procurement projects Accounts Payable discrepancy resolution and supplier issue management experience Knowledge of Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Power BI or other reporting/analytics tool experience We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
