A consulting firm specializing in telecommunications, EV charging, and utility infrastructure is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to oversee design and development of telecom site projects. This role involves leading engineering efforts from concept through construction, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring high-quality design and documentation standards. The position requires both technical expertise and leadership capability.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Design telecom sites from concept to construction including layouts and antenna mount design
• Prepare and review construction drawings, specifications, and detailed plans
• Perform site inspections and condition assessments and generate reports
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and CAD designers
• Develop sketches and perform drafting using AutoCAD
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project execution
• Ensure compliance with construction standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with telecom exposure preferred
• Without degree, minimum 8 years of telecom design experience required
• Experience in new site development including tower or rooftop sites
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Knowledge of structural components and construction drawing standards
• Ability to conduct site inspections and document findings
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to sites
