Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to provide teletherapy services to elementary and middle school students. This contract role involves delivering remote speech-language pathology support with a focus on fostering communication skills in young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct teletherapy sessions with elementary and middle school students
- Assess and treat speech and language disorders using virtual platforms
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with educators and caregivers to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Utilize bilingual skills to engage effectively with Spanish and English-speaking students and families
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Proven experience providing teletherapy services, specifically in school settings
- Fluency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate professionally in both languages
- Strong skills in working with elementary and middle school-aged children
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and technology
Location:This position offers remote teletherapy services serving the Mackinaw, Illinois area.
