Brake Press Set-Up Operator
Custom manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Brake Press Set-Up Operator to join our sheet metal fabrication team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting brake press machinery to produce high-quality metal components according to blueprint specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate brake press equipment including Cincinnati and Amada machines
- Read blueprints and job specifications to ensure accurate bending and forming
- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools
- Troubleshoot machine issues and maintain production efficiency
- Load/unload materials and maintain a safe, clean work area
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' manufacturing experience
- 5+ years' operating brake press equipment preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Schedule & Pay:
- Full-Time | MondayFriday | 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
- Overtime available
- Contract to Hire & Direct Placement Opportunities
- Pay: $22$28/hour DOE
