Informatica MDM Architect - Remote - Contract Opportunity

Role: Informatica MDM Architect

Location: Remote

Duration: 4 Months Contract (With Possible extension)

Experience: 6 9+ years of relevant experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

Lead Informatica MDM solution architecture and design activities.

Conduct stakeholder discussions, discovery sessions, and current-state assessments.

Analyze existing MDM processes, data models, integrations, and data quality issues.

Perform gap analysis and develop practical solution options and recommendations.

Design MDM solutions covering Match & Merge, data profiling, data quality, mappings, workflows, hierarchies, and integrations.

Define matching, merging, survivorship, and data stewardship strategies.

Develop target-state architecture and implementation roadmaps.

Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable MDM solutions.

Identify problems independently and recommend solutions with minimal direction.

Clearly communicate technical findings and architecture decisions to both technical and business audiences.

Provide guidance to development and implementation teams throughout the solution lifecycle.

R equired Qualifications

6 9+ years of relevant MDM/data management experience, with demonstrated architect-level experience.

Strong expertise in Informatica MDM, particularly Match & Merge.

Strong understanding of:

Match & Merge and survivorship

Data profiling

Data quality

Data mapping

MDM workflows

Hierarchies

MDM integrations

MDM solution architecture

Experience conducting discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, current-state assessments, and gap analyses.

Ability to evaluate multiple solution approaches and make clear recommendations.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare industry experience.

Experience working with healthcare payers/providers or health insurance data.

Previous experience with CareFirst, Humana, or similar healthcare organizations is a plus.

Experience developing MDM transformation roadmaps and target-state architectures.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is not simply an Informatica MDM developer/engineer or functional consultant. We are specifically looking for someone who has operated at the MDM Architect level, can lead discovery and architecture discussions, understands Informatica MDM deeply-especially Match & Merge-and can independently turn business problems into practical technical solutions.
