Licensed Pharmacy TechnicianBecome a licensed pharmacy technician while assisting pharmacists in an inpatient clinical hospital setting. Benefits package and retirement plan available.Responsibilities:Prepares, organizes and maintains work area.Fills containers, prepares and affixes labels, prepackages pharmaceuticals, maintains records, and stocks supplies under supervision.Prepares and labels IVs, hyperalimentation solutions, chemotherapy agents, and other pharmaceutical products.Responds to patient admission, transfer, discharge, discontinued medication notices, and processes physician orders.Assists with recordkeeping, billing and accounting functions.Assists in ordering, receiving, inspecting and adjusting stock.Maintains floor stock, crash carts and nursing station inspection reports.Performs other related duties as directed.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED EquivalentMichigan Pharmacy Technician License or Enrolled in a Pharmacy Technician Certification Program (currently enrolled or upon hire)Exemplary customer service skillsRequires attention to detail & multi-tasking skillsEqual Opportunity Employer of Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans.
