Automotive Sales Manager Opportunity

Are you an experienced automotive sales leader ready for your next opportunity? Stuteville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Poteau is looking for a motivated and results-driven Automotive Sales Manager to lead our dealership's new and pre-owned vehicle sales operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role for an automotive professional who knows how to drive sales, develop a team, manage inventory, desk deals, appraise trades, and deliver an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage both new and pre-owned vehicle sales operations
• Desk deals and assist the sales team in structuring transactions
• Achieve dealership goals for sales volume, gross profit, inventory turn, and profitability
• Hire, train, coach, supervise, and motivate sales staff
• Appraise trades and make sound vehicle acquisition and disposition decisions
• Assist with new vehicle inventory management and ordering/acquisition
• Manage pre-owned inventory, including pricing, aging, reconditioning, and wholesaling
• Maintain knowledge of manufacturer incentives, rebates, sales programs, and requirements
• Monitor sales performance, Internet lead follow-up, and customer satisfaction
• Control selling expenses and identify opportunities to maximize department profitability
• Professionally resolve customer concerns and maintain strong CSI performance
• Work effectively with other dealership departments while ensuring dealership policies and applicable regulations are followed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of automotive sales management experience required
• Previous automotive retail sales experience required
• Experience with both new and pre-owned vehicle sales operations preferred
• Experience desking deals and working with manufacturer incentives, rebates, and sales programs
• Experience appraising trades and managing pre-owned vehicle inventory and pricing
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and organizational skills
• High standards of honesty, integrity, accountability, and customer service
• Reynolds & Reynolds and/or Chrysler/Stellantis experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
• Ability to successfully complete applicable pre-employment screening
