Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of multiple types of equipment through effective repair and preventive maintenance. This individual works mostly alone during day shifts taking instruction from the front desk, following safety protocols and maintaining accurate paper-based technical documentation. The role demands hands-on troubleshooting skills and swift response to emergency repairs to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

Perform equipment repair and preventive maintenance
Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues promptly
Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
Manage inventory related to maintenance supplies
Maintain accurate paper-based technical documentation
Execute emergency repairs as needed to reduce downtime

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Mechanical repair expertise
Preventive maintenance knowledge
Strong troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with technical documentation
Understanding of safety protocols
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities

Pay will be based off of experience.
