Rooted Life LLC is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide comprehensive support to students and their families within a school environment. As a full-time member of our dedicated team, you will conduct vital assessments, develop therapeutic strategies, and engage with students to promote mental well-being and academic success. This remote position allows you to create a positive impact within the Bradenton, Florida community while working from the comfort of your own home.

This role is primarily a remote position, requiring proactive communication and collaboration with school staff, families, and other community resources. You will utilize telehealth platforms and digital communication tools to offer timely support while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Your daily interactions will be with school personnel, students, and families to foster a supportive atmosphere for mental health discussions and interventions.

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate the psychological and emotional state of students, focusing on their strengths, challenges, and needs while ensuring thorough documentation of intake information.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to individual student needs, promoting best practices in mental health intervention.

• Design interventions that include psychological strategies to aid students in achieving their personal, academic, and social goals.

• Facilitate individual and family counseling sessions to address various issues that affect the well-being of students and their family dynamics.

• Offer vocational and experiential guidance to students as needed, equipping them with tools to navigate their educational pathways effectively.

• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to create a supportive environment and coordinate comprehensive services for clients, enabling a seamless approach to care.

• Provide crisis intervention and timely documentation, ensuring immediate support is available upon the occurrence of significant events.

• Maintain availability for over-the-phone consultations and advice for families and students to facilitate ongoing support and troubleshooting.
\n
• Stay up-to-date with state licensing requirements and continue to enhance professional development through ongoing education.
\n
• Offer constructive feedback and consultation to treatment team members regarding student progress and adapt strategies as necessary.

You will primarily work with students from diverse backgrounds who may be experiencing behavioral health challenges, academic stressors, or emotional difficulties. Our approach focuses on fostering resilience and coping strategies, thereby supporting students to thrive within their educational settings and beyond.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
\n
• Current Florida state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Minimum of two years of direct experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably with school-aged populations.

• Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals (AHA BLS).
\n
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to think critically in fast-paced situations.
\n
• Proficiency in practical assessment, interviewing, and counseling methods relevant to the school setting.

Experience in a school setting or with youth populations is highly desirable, as is proficiency in various therapeutic modalities and familiarity with community resources relevant to educational environments.
