Our services are intended to be collaborative and personalized for the individual.The Budget Analyst is responsible for ensuring effective financial management across the organization. This position is responsible for creating and analyzing budgets to support strategic decision making and fiscal discipline. Key duties include preparing detailed monthly budget reports, monitoring expenditures, and analyzing financial data to forecast future needs and optimize costs. The analyst also oversees grant spending and assists with grant close-out reporting, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial activities.The pay range for this position is $60,000 to $75,300 annually based on experience, education, and/or licensure.Essential Functions:Prepares, analyzes, and reviews budget proposals and funding requests for external funding, including but not limited to grantsPrepares comprehensive and detailed reports relating to the preparation and submission of budgets, budget revisions, budget performance, etc.Participates in the preparation of operating budgets and budget revisionsReviews/monitors grant expendituresMonitors budgets and notifies leadership of significant variancesTakes appropriate corrective action necessary to resolve budget variancesOversee expenditure and identity trends in spendingProvides technical assistance and support to managersEnters budget amendments and runs queries/reports utilizing Financial Edge or YardiInterfaces with funders and other entities to resolve issuesEnsure the organization's compliance with funding requirementsWorks on special projectsPrepares accounting entries for a range of registers, journals, and logsTracks and records grant expendituresGenerates Grant invoicingRecords bank depositsAssists the Corporate Controller, Financial Manager to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirementsSupports Accounts Receivable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entryAssists the Corporate Controller, Financial Manager with creating budgets and forecasts as requestedGenerates and monitors the budget to actual financial activitiesPerforms vendor verificationFollows all accounting processes established by Integrated ServicesTravel within designated service areaPerforms other duties as assignedMinimum Requirements:Education/Licensure:A high school degree or GED equivalent is requiredA bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, accounting, finance, or related field is preferredExperience:2 years of accounting, bookkeeping experience, or financial analysis are requiredExperience in accounting or other financial management fields is requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Understanding of applicable laws and regulations is requiredAdvanced computer skills, specifically in Excel and accounting-related databases are requiredKnowledge of payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions are preferredAdvanced communication skills, both oral and written is requiredAdvanced organizational skills are requiredAbility to maintain confidential information is requiredAbility to use appropriate databases, spreadsheets, and other software is requiredA valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle is requiredAn appropriate level of auto insurance coverage is requiredAbility to manage deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment is requiredAbility to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment is requiredAbility to maintain high-speed internet connection is requiredPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.Enjoy a great work environment with an excellent salary, generous paid time off, and a strong benefits package.Benefits include:MedicalDentalVisionShort-term DisabilityLong-term Disability401K w/ Employer MatchEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) provides support and resources to help you and your family with a range of issues.Our Mission: Delivering exceptional care through connectionOur Values:Dignity - We meet people where they are on their journey with respect and hopeCollaboration - We listen to understand and ask how we can best support the people and communities we serveWellbeing - We celebrate one another's strengths, and we support one another in being wellExcellence - We demand high-quality care for those we serve, and are a leader in how we care for one another as a teamInnovation - We deeply value a range of perspectives and experiences, knowing it is what inspires us to stretch past where we are and reach towards what we know is possibleThe above list of duties is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position.
