You must be flexible to work weekdays AM/PM and have open availability on weekends. Job Summary The Delivery Driver will provide a genuine experience to customers with professionalism, poise, and patience. A passion for cannabis coupled with a strong adherence to protocol and compliance is necessary. The role includes delivering items to customers, patients, safely and in a timely manner, reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and correctness, and maintaining product knowledge, customer service, basic computer skills, and cash handling experience. Primary Responsibilities Interpret and execute state laws and regulations required when delivering medical cannabis Manage delivery documents, ensuring proper records, manifests completed and filed Maintain positive professional relationships with dispensary staff Communicate timely and effectively when issues arise during deliveries Communicate professionally in person about cannabis product variations to guests, when necessary Use basic math skills to manage cash transactions and provide accurate change Demonstrate professional knowledge of cannabis products from a regulated retail dispensary or medical distribution center Utilize a POS system, cash register and payment processing software Provide exceptional customer service by phone, text and in person Develop and maintain rapport with customers Address, answer and communicate customer and patient concerns promptly and efficiently Obey all traffic laws and operate vehicles safely and legally Maintain a positive work environment of trust and respect Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines Assist dispensary staff with inventory, back‑stock organization, cleaning, website and online menu updates and other tasks during downtime between deliveries Job Requirements Must be 25 years or older and pass required pre‑employment screenings Must have a clean motor vehicle driving record and a valid driver’s license Must be willing to work weekends, days, and night shifts High school diploma or GED Retail experience preferred; cannabis retail experience a plus Experience with cannabis point‑of‑sale software a plus Willing to build understanding of applicable state and local laws and regulations related to cannabis, personnel law, safety regulations, municipal codes and operational rules Must remain compliant with all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry Must obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation Excellent organization and time‑management skills Focused with close attention to detail Capable of internalizing training and following instructions Effective communication skills Physical Demands The physical demands are representative of those that must be met to perform the essential functions of this job.
