Material Handler

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, components, and supplies; verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage or quality issues and report discrepancies.
• Pick, pack, and prepare o shipments.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Complete shipping/receiving documentation and system transactions.
• Deliver materials to production lines.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in warehouse material handling (manufacturing preferred).
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (certification preferred).
• Data entry, Microsoft Office Suite experience.
• Experience receiving goods, picking and staging, and packaging orders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance and stand/walk for long periods.
• Experience with freight carriers and inventory control a plus.
• Understand quality inspection and MRP/inventory systems a plus.
