About the Role

As an FAA A&P Mechanic , you'll play a vital role in maintaining aircraft airworthiness and reliability. Your expertise in troubleshooting, repair, and inspection ensures that every aircraft meets rigorous FAA standards-supporting safe and efficient operations in the aviation industry.

Position Details

• Location: Trumbull, CT

• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 1st Shift (4/10 schedule)

• Pay Rate: $29.50 per hour

• Duration: May 29, 2026 - May 29, 2027

• Worksite: Onsite, Full-Time

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and service aircraft and engine systems

• Perform detailed inspections to ensure airworthiness and compliance

• Interpret wiring diagrams, maintenance manuals, and technical documentation

• Utilize diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify issues

• Maintain accurate FAA-required maintenance records and documentation

• Support aircraft fueling and grooming as needed

• Uphold strict safety and quality standards in all maintenance activities

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License

• Strong understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams

• Commitment to safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced aviation maintenance environment

• Familiarity with FAA documentation and inspection processes

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently

Pay Details: $29.50 per hour
