Shift ManagerThe Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient team performance, and compliance with company policies. This role acts as the manager-on-duty, providing leadership, resolving issues, and maintaining a safe, clean, and well-run store environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support team members during assigned shiftsOpen and/or close the store following established proceduresEnsure high standards of customer service and promptly resolve customer concernsAssign tasks and monitor employee performance throughout the shiftMaintain proper staffing levels and adjust coverage as neededEnforce company policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention standardsEnsure store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards are metCommunicate shift updates, issues, and operational needs to store managementAssist with training and coaching new and existing team membersQualificationsPrevious retail, grocery, food service, or customer service experience preferredPrior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferredStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to lead by example and remain calm in a fast-paced environmentBasic math and cash-handling skillsAbility to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periodsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
