Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide assistance to lawyers and staff on municipal events. You will communicate with clients, and work on deadline driven projects. The ideal candidate is hardworking and highly detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients and keep a log of upcoming tasks to be completed
- Do general office support activities like scanning, filing and uploading documents
- Maintain and update documentation
- Provide general administrative support
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role is preferred
- Certification or diploma as a Legal Assistant is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with document management experience
- Strong Attentiton to Detail skills a MUST
- Expereinced with Microsoft Office specifically Excel and mail merge process
