Interventional Radiology Technician

The position involves working in an Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab setting. Scrubbing for interventional, vascular, and pain procedures is mandatory. Proficiency in operating the C-arm systems is required. The unit handles various cases, including CT and X-ray, but floating to these areas is not required. Procedural types include tunneled catheter placements, embolizations, drain placements, epidural blocks, and vascular interventions. Daily duties entail accurate monitoring, catheter/drain exchanges, and performing specific interventional radiology procedures. Candidates must have proficiency in equipment setup and maintaining a sterile field. Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias is essential. Candidates should have flexible scheduling availability. This role is day shift, with specific working hours from Monday to Friday.

Minimum 2 years required experience. Must possess a valid MD license. Certifications: ARRT-R, ACLS, BLS, Fluoro Permit. Must-have: Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. IR experience required. Travel experience required. Every other holiday required. No on-call or weekends.
