Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. • Initials accurate and ongoing assessments of physical and psychosocial problems of patient.
• Performs appropriate and age specific triage on all patients within 5 minutes of arrival to ED including chief complaint, v.s., time and signature.
• Assignment of level of triage as appropriate based on brief history and indicated vital signs. Performs and documents appropriate nursing history and physical admission on an ongoing basis.
• Performs and documents age specific basic physiological condition of the patient to include; mental status, skin signs, pain level and complaint specific information.
• Reflects psychosocial needs of the patient.
• Reflects perceptions of patient and/or significant others of his health problem(s) and his expectations of the present hospitalization.

Job Requirements

Required

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Registered Nurse: CA RN License
• Basic Life Support - CPR BLS
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS, within 90 Days
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS, within 90 Days

Preferred

• Previous Emergency Department experience
