Performs patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, arterial blood gas puncture and analysis, maintenance and management of all basic equipment, and patient education.

Education:

• Associates Degree in Respiratory Care Sciences. Required or
• None

Work Experience:

• No experience required Required

Licenses and Certifications:

• CRT - Certified Respiratory Therapist Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) and licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS credential Upon Hire Required
• ACLS within 30 Days Required
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS within 60 Days Required
