Early Childhood Teacher

Watch Me Grow Child Development Center, Inc. [an ALABAMA QUALITY S.T.A.R.S/Q.R.I.S RATED FACILITY] has openings for dedicated, experienced Early Childhood professionals who are eager to work with children ages six (6) weeks - (12) twelve years of age. This is a full time position with an expected 40 hour work week. Each applicant will be considered based on experience and education levels [including starting pay].

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 18 years of age or older.
• One year or more of child care experience, in licensed day care facility or Early Head Start/Head Start program.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and children in a cooperative work environment.
• Applicant must pass an ABI/FBI background check, TB and physical.
• Applicant must have or obtain a Food Handler's Card.
• Applicant can have or obtaining a CDA [Child Development Accreditation] or higher-level degree, in Early Childhood Education or Development preferably.
• Good organizational and writing skills.
• Willing to be flexible and work efficiently to meet deadlines and program goals.

SCHEDULE:

• 8 or 10-hour shift
• Monday to Friday (no weekends)
