Senior Policy Analyst
Virtual Vocations Inc
Providing regulatory and policy expertise, the part-time Senior Policy Analyst will support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Research and Development by managing Research Affiliation Agreements, negotiating Research Collaboration Agreements, and overseeing Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) management, all in a 100% remote capacity. Key responsibilities Provide expert guidance on Research Affiliation Agreements, including development, review, and renewal processes Support the negotiation, drafting, and administration of Research Collaboration Agreements with university partners Analyze VA policy and federal regulations related to affiliation agreements and FCOI, advising program leadership on compliance considerations Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a scientific, biomedical, public health, or related field 8+ years of experience in policy analysis or regulatory compliance within a scientific or biomedical research environment Demonstrated knowledge of VA regulatory requirements related to affiliation agreements and financial conflict of interest Strong understanding of VA, VA Non-Profit Corporations, and affiliate university relationships Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
